Zest Medical is actively seeking a highly credible, experienced Dispensing Optician to join my clients Sales and Marketing team. The Optical Training Consultant will work with identified accounts across the central region which comprises of Yorkshire, Lancashire (M62 Corridor), Staffordshire, East / West Midlands and Lincolnshire delivering CET approved technical presentations, responsible for training practices and developing practice staff in order to improve their ability to promote my clients lenses. This role represents an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Dispensing Optician to make the transition from practice into the commercial world to join an industry leader in the Ophthalmic field.

The successful candidate will possess significant dispensing experience (qualified Dispensing Optician), ideally with an understanding of both the independent and multiple market. The Optical Training Consultant will demonstrate first class communication skills and be comfortable delivering training presentations to groups. Previous experience delivering “in practice” training will be highly advantageous. The role is an autonomous, field based position which will require candidates to demonstrate excellent planning / time management skills coupled with an ability work independently, targeting key accounts across the Central region.

The remuneration package comprises of a basic salary ranging from £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance (£6,000), Healthcare and a range of additional benefits.
