Zest’s Scientific recruitment division is currently searching for a personable and commercially astute Scientific graduate who demonstrates the personal qualities required to succeed in the Scientific Sales arena.
The position is an Internal Sales role, driving profitable sales growth across a defined territory through key account management and new business development selling into academic, pharmaceutical and biotech accounts. Working closely with field based territory managers the Internal Sales Representative work in line with individual KPI’s and have personal sales performance targets; consequently, candidates will need to be comfortable working in a target oriented environment. The role represents an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leader and gain commercial exposure in the scientific field. The role is ideally suited to candidates who are looking to forge a career in the scientific sales environment.
The successful candidate will be degree educated in a relevant scientific discipline; it will be advantageous to have some post graduation research experience. Requisite personal attributes include: Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness / general business acumen, influencing / negotiation skills, results driven nature.
In return the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from £20,000 - £22,000 (DOE) + Bonus (£10,000 OTE) plus a range of additional benefits.
