Ophthalmic sales jobs in the midlands area. Zest Medical are looking to recruit an Ophthalmic Sales Territory Manager to sell a wide range of products including IOL’s, Single Use Instruments , Packs, Gases and Oils, Microsurgical Knives and their ophthalmic range of Pharmaceuticals. You will be based from home working in the field which is central England / Midlands. This job involves working with hospital staff at all levels Consultant Surgeons, Theatre nurses, Sisters, Pharmacist and procurement managers. You will also be liaising with staff within the company e.g. Sales Manager, Customer services and Support personnel.
Main duties;
1. Manage your territory to ensure that current accounts are satisfied with the service and products they are receiving, establish contacts with potential customers and obtain new customers.
2. Develop good working relationship with the appropriate personnel within each hospital. Ensure a proper program for contact, both face to face and by telephone.
3 Arrange, organise and carry out trials of products within the hospitals. This often involves training hospital staff to use the company products.
4. Deal with any customer problems relating to the product range
5. Regularly monitor and review your own progress in territory to ensure you will achieve the set targets.
6. Jointly responsible with Sales Manager for all business aspects of the territory. To jointly prepare a territory action plan which will need to be regularly reviewed.
We need someone who can demonstrate a solid sales history within ophthalmic market place and show excellent territory management and organisation skills. To fit into this diverse team you will need to be a team player hungry for success, self directed and motivated.
Our client are offering a basic up to £32,000 (with a first year guarantee of 5K) with a further 10k available against budget achievement. In addition there is a car allowance, Non-contributory pension scheme, health insurance and all the necessary hardware and training required to perform this role.
