Optometry – Optometrist Clinical Director – Surrey
Optometry and Optometrist Clinical Director jobs in Surrey. Zest Optical Recruitment is currently working with the largest provider of domiciliary eyecare service in the UK to recruit an Optometrist Clinical Director for a full time vacancy in Surrey. This company currently carries out over 10,000 eye tests in the community each month and are used by over 5,000 Care Homes. Being one of the fastest growing optical companies in the UK, they have a large number of corporate clients and a variety of trade and industry businesses who use their services.
This is a rare opportunity for a Clinical Director position. The Clinical Directors have the overall responsibility of the branch and my client is looking for Joint Venture Partners who want to run their own business.
Clinical Directors will usually be responsible for:
• Compliance with legal requirements, company standards and policies and clinical governance.
• Developing skills and capabilities of the Team and new Optoms/ Dispensers.
• Spending the majority of their time in the field testing clients
• Overall responsibly for the running of the branch
• Delivering team briefings
• Decision making and problem solving
• Building relationships with internal/ external customers, suppliers and staff
• Staff developed PDP, disciplinary, recruitment
• Maximising branch performance
• Meeting KPI’s
• Supporting the branch manager
The ideal Candidate will be:
• Professional at all times
• Qualified as an Optometrist
• Have a proactive approach
• Possess good communication skills
• Possess good commercial awareness
In return for your experience you will be rewarded with a generous salary depending on experience in addition to a Joint Venture Clinical Directorship Opportunity. With a good weekly schedule, no weekend requirements, and a generous holiday entitlement the overall package is excellent as well.
