Job Title: Scientific Sales Rep.
Experience: Research Scientist, Laboratory, Field Sales, Scientific Sales.
Background: Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry.
Salary: £35K + Car, Bonus, Benefits, OTE £45k.
The Scientific Sales role will involve promoting instrumentation and consumables to the Life Science community in the London area, more specifically the major academic institutions across North London, North West London and Hertfordshire. The position is a 12 month maternity cover contract; however, my client rewards success and any individual which demonstrates value to the organisation will be supported and provided with further career options at the end of the initial 12 month contract.
It is necessary that applicants interested in pursuing the Scientific Sales – Life Science role are educated to degree level (minimum) in a relevant Life Science subject and can demonstrate proven professional sales experience in the research market, managing key accounts in a field based territory management role. In addition, my client will also consider applications from candidates with an educational background in Life Sciences who have pursued customer facing sales roles outside of the research sector yet demonstrate the commitment and motivation to make the transition into the industry. Commercially astute candidates with a proven track record will quickly progress as my client rewards success and is committed to fostering personal professional development.
In return the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Commission and a range of additional benefits.
