Job Title: Key Account Manager - Scientific Sales.
Experience: Research Scientist, Laboratory, Field Sales, Scientific Sales.
Background: Biosciences, Proteomics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Sales.
Salary: £30K - £35K basic + Car, Bonus, Benefits, OTE £45k.
The Bioscience Account Manager role will involve supporting, developing and growing the business within a defined territory. The post-holder will have the opportunity to run and develop the territory to maximise the potential that the accounts hold, by using their sales skills and experience to promote and sell Proteomics products within the London area to achieve annual sales targets and to maintain the company’s Proteomics market share and position.
It is necessary that applicants interested in pursuing the Scientific Sales – Key Account Manager role are educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) in a relevant Bioscience subject and can demonstrate proven professional sales experience in the scientific research market, managing key accounts in a field based territory/account management role. In addition, my client will also consider applications from candidates with an educational background in Biosciences who have pursued customer facing sales roles outside of the research sector yet demonstrate the commitment and motivation to make the transition into the industry. Commercially astute candidates with a proven track record will quickly progress as my client rewards success and is committed to fostering personal professional development.
