Zest Scientific recruitment is actively seeking an accomplished Technical Sales Specialist who is looking for a fresh challenge in the Bioscience community.

Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist - Scientific Sales - Genomics.

Salary: £30K - £35K basic + Car, Bonus, Benefits, OTE £45k.

The Technical Sales Specialist role will involve supporting, developing and growing the business within a defined territory. The post-holder will have the opportunity to run and develop the territory to maximise the potential that the accounts hold, by using their sales skills and experience to promote and sell Genomics products within the Scotland territory to achieve annual sales targets and to maintain the company’s Genomics market share and position.

It is necessary that applicants interested in pursuing the Technical Sales Specialist role are educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) in a relevant Bioscience subject and can demonstrate proven professional sales experience in the scientific research market, managing key accounts in a field based territory/account management role. In addition, my client will also consider applications from candidates with an educational background in Biosciences who have pursued customer facing sales roles outside of the research sector yet demonstrate the commitment and motivation to make the transition into the industry.
