Equipment Sales Jobs
The medical arena and Healthcare Sales can encompass many different areas and products' and will generally differ from Technical Sales in that you are not selling into surgery but they may well be classified under either Equipment Sales, Instrument Sales or Medical Device sales. For example you may be promoting Woundcare products such as bandages and dressings, beds and mattresses, prosthetic items to Orthopaedics or eye testing and diagnostic equipment into ophthalmology
Primarily selling into hospital departments you will need to have a thorough understanding of the NHS and its buying patterns, working with Key Opinion Leaders to ensure effective promotion of a company with various departments.
As with all Sales positions, time served will help to develop your skills and see you grow and rise up within a business, even though the sectors are diverse the background of those successful are very similar. You will be a determined and ambitious individual with a Positive attitude and solutions focused. Due to the competitive nature of this industry you will be Resilient with high energy levels and adaptable to the ever changing needs of the healthcare market
