Field Service Engineer Jobs

A highly technical and niche role whereby you will provide mobile support over a given territory to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to a range of equipment on client sites.  These roles may also be known as Technical customer Support or Instrument Engineer and allow companies to offer a  professional, fast and economic support to all their customers, whilst installing, servicing and repairing machines. Furthermore this position can help develop, improve and extend existing customer relationships, and will be key in closely tracking the performance of their product ranges,, respond quickly to customer enquiry's and provide accurate feedback on system usage, performance and customer satisfaction

The type of equipment is as varied as there are products within the healthcare market and all will require a differing level of technical skill and prerequisite skill set.  As a rule most of Zest Medical's clients require an Associate degree in (medical) electronics or post high school technical training or equivalent alongside service experience, preferred in medical / scientific industry. In some case where extensive training is given someone who is educated to A level standard with a bias towards science / technology or an HND equivalent in instrument and control systems / electronics will be considered.   This role forms part of the post sales cycle and as such all roles require strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer oriented with a good sense of urgency.
