Trainee Product Manager jobs and Graduate Portfolio Management jobs in Nottingham. Zest Optical are working on behalf of this optical market leader to recruit graduates for their Product Manager and Portfolio Manager training programme based in Nottingham.

An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Product Manager / Graduate Portfolio Manager to join this successful global Optical business based in Nottingham. This is an extensive training programme for Optical graduates from a Dispensing, Contact Lens or Optometry background. You will receive exposure and training in all areas of the business and you will be equipped with all the skills essential to perform a senior role in the organisation either as a Product Manager or Portfolio Manager.

The successful candidate will work in all areas of the business during training in order to gain a full understanding of the organisation. This will include marketing, retail support and supply chain management. Although the programme is designed to equip you with all the skills necessary to be a successful Product or Portfolio Manager you will of course have opportunity to pursue other senior roles in the business as a result of the training received in other key business areas.

This is a unique and rare opportunity for optical graduates to take an alternative career path that will move them away from the traditional practice development route and offers a multitude of career development paths within one of the largest retail optical business globally.

The selected candidate must be a recent Optical graduate (Dispensing Optician, Contact Lens Optician or Optometrist) with a commercial bias and a desire to work their way up within a business. The role is based in Nottingham, but travel may be required to other locations in the country or internationally to further develop your skills.

This is an excellent graduate scheme that can really equip you with skills for the future, in return for your dedication you will receive a salary of £25,000 to £35,000 that will increase as you complete your training to upwards of £40,000.
