Ophthalmic Sales jobs for Nurses in Scotland, Ophthalmic Sales jobs in Scotland.  Due to the continued success of our client, we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager, to cover Scotland.  The company is one of the largest Ophthalmic, Optometric & Digital Imaging Equipment supplier in the UK. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an ophthalmic Nurse looking to embark on a commercial sales career and also a unique challenge to a high calibre individual who is already successful within their current role, and is looking for a new challenge and the chance to build a long-term career with a market leader.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the position involves promoting and selling a range of medical products to the Ophthalmic and Optometric industry, as well as exploring and developing new business opportunities.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in medical sales or an understanding of the NHS and its selling cycles.  Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to communicate with authority to senior consultants is fundamental to success in this role.  You will be highly presentable with a good level of technical understanding of both optics and associated topics is desirable, but not essential.

In return you will be offered an excellent salary and commission package will be offered, 23 days annual holiday, a company car or car allowance, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, private health care and income protection insurance.
