Zest Medical Healthcare Sales Recruitment is working in partnership with a premium healthcare manufacturer who is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager for a full time vacancy. Our client have a well established brand in the UK market and are looking to build on their rich heritage through the recruitment of a talented Business Development Manager to meet their business growth and development objectives by successfully implementing sales strategies within designated sales areas. You will be required to help maintain sales growth of specialist optical products to retail outlets (grocery and healthcare) in the Kent/Sussex region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sales growth of the client's optical products to both existing and potential customers to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded. Through the ability to translate and shape the business plans for your territory you will drive performance and ensure a return on investment through profitable growth.

It is necessary that applicants are educated to Degree Level standard (or equivalent) in a relevant business discipline. You will have a proven track record in sales ideally from a structured sales background within the Healthcare Consumables market. A flexible approach and excellent communication skills will enable you to adapt and be reactive to business needs. A proven sales approach is essential alongside strong field-based territory/account management and analysis skills.
