Optometry – Optical Jobs – National Trainer

Optometry and Trainer jobs in the North and Midlands. Zest Optical Recruitment is currently working with a key client to recruit a National Trainer for a full time vacancy to be based in the North or the Midlands of the UK. This unique opportunity will require you to support the company’s professional, field based staff on a National level. This includes Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants. The job holder will be expected to carry out field based assessments that will inform the structured programmed development of these internal clients.

The ideal candidate will either be a qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC or someone with a wealth of training experience or a training qualification. You will have excellent communication skills and be a self starter who is confident about working in a role where your actions will directly influence the results of others. You will be competent in all areas of dispensing and patient aftercare as well as facilitate the development of all field based staff in all areas of dispensing. You will need to be flexible with a strong business ethic and be dedicated to the development of others by using recognised teaching methods.

The ideal geographic location for candidates to be based in would be the West Midlands, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, Cheshire or Derbyshire.

In return for your experience you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of circa £21,000 + bonus + fully expensed company car offering a total package worth around £27,000 OTE.
