Hearing aid and Training Audiologist in Birmingham / West Midlands.  Working within the Professional Services and Training team you will help ensure that the clinical skills of all designated staff comply with all relevant legislation and professional requirements and are continuously developed and updated to deliver the commercial and clinical objectives of the Company.

Key responsibilities

Training:              

  • Deliver and maintain effective induction training for new hearing clinicians, to ensure they have a smooth transition in to the Company receiving appropriate ongoing support.
  • Deliver and maintain effective in-house clinical training
  • Support the devising and delivery of any required in-house training and ongoing support for hearing apprentices.
  • Support the devising and delivery of bi-annual company hearing conferences and of companywide, group and individual clinical training.
  • Support adherence to companywide clinical standards and any accreditation process.
  • Support the devising and delivery of appropriate training material to maintain clinical, technical and commercial knowledge of all hearing clinicians.

External Relationships:

  • Support productive relationship with external organisations, such as hearing aid manufacturers, professional, educational and national health service bodies.

Company support:

  • To carry out additional training and other duties within Hearing Professional Services & Training team delivering all their key responsibilities as required

Qualifications

You will be qualified as an audiologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with training experience where you will have motivated individuals and groups of people at different levels.  You will have first class communication skills being able to develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes.  Keeping up to date with current and future industry and professional development

You will have confidence in presenting to an open audience at various levels, internally and externally with the ability to plan and organise effectively to schedule work to fit in with deadlines.
