Optical Key Account Manager jobs.  Zest Medical Optical Sales recruitment are looking for a Key Account Manager to join a highly established lens manufacturer for an exciting new opportunity.  As their National Account Manager you will be responsible for growing sales through an already existing portfolio of strategic key accounts.  In addition to the day to day management of these accounts, your role will be to develop and expand the business further by identifying new opportunities, any gaps in the current portfolio and make recommendations on business opportunities through new customer relations.

The role is highly commercial and you will spend time with the senior management team on strategy as well as time with your accounts buying contacts.

To be considered for this varied, challenging, but potentially very rewarding role you’ll have previous experience of managing key accounts with a proven background in Optical sales. You will also have a wealth of market knowledge and the ability to detect potential leads with success of turning these into new business.

You will be self-driven, have a professional attitude, excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills and a high work ethic.  Being a strong team player you will be able to demonstrate a ‘business management’ approach in generating and delivering challenging account plans.  Also, being an ambitious individual, you’ll also be able to ‘hit the ground running’ in this key role and foster strong relationships both internally and with your external customers by using your excellent relationship building skills.
