We are looking for a highly dedicated and ambitious Optometrist, interested in joining a professional services team for a leading designer and manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses.  Working within a world class centre of excellence you will assist in all activities to ensure delivering ‘best in class‘ training for optical professionals.

The ideal candidate must possess a passion and drive for working within a dynamic team, in order to grow their business and fellowship opportunities.  You will be a qualified Optometrist with GOC registration and be able to support the company’s commercial activities with demonstrations of dispensing tools & diagnostic instruments within the company’s Customer Engagement Centre

Key tasks;

  • Develop & manage the area of Professional Training Services, for both employee & customer training requirements, as a separate business function within the company
  • Develop new business models through collaborative research & partnership opportunities with Academia, in order to drive the business forward
  • Deliver business results through the development, accreditation & delivery of CET Programmes.

You will have recent tenure as an Optometrist with confident technical expertise committed to professional development.  Highly tuned communication & presentation skills will be required to enable you to build relationships with KOL's to ensure successful project delivery.   You will need to demonstrate an organised and planned approach to successfully run large events, being able to track progress and deliver against set deadlines.   The role will be office based in Birmingham with willingness to travel nationally & internationally to meet the needs of the business.
