Manager of Surgical Managed services.  Zest Optical are looking to recruit a Managed Service Manager for a global leader in eyecare.  The role will be to design and execute Managed Service Contracts for external customers. This will take the form of developing Managed Service proposals for a variety of external stakeholders to ensure customers’ needs are met effectively.  The proposals will be designed to improve the efficiency and efficacy of customers’ surgical departments across the UK. You will also be responsible for the strategic account management of key customers including health care provider institutions both in the private and public sector.  You will also be responsible for shaping the direction and strategy of this service to ensure that the proposition provided to customers is as relevant as possible to their requirements.

we are looking for an experienced individual who may have come from a consultancy, surgical sales and project management/professional services background. This is a new and key focus for our client and because of this the scope of this role is significant and would be yours to shape. Some of the major accountabilities of the role would include:

  • Local business development lead of Legally and Compliance approved Managed Service proposals
  • Local lead point of contact for external stakeholders (health care providers and any other appropriate contacts during business development and execution of Managed Service Proposition)
  • Accountable for leading the tactical and technical execution of a Managed Service contract
  • Accountable for leading the transformation and optimisation of a customer service based on pre-defined service output KPIs
  • Build NHS managed service stakeholder network for territory
  • Build territory business plan – for launch and engagement with key customers
  • Maintain up to date understanding of customer environment including NHS policy changes and HMRC rulings

There is a highly competitive salary on offer between 50 - 70k (+ benefits) alongside the potential for an exciting career with an industry leader.
