Business Development Manager - London - Pharmacy
Business Development role in London (with some travel). We are looking for an experienced sales & marketing professional to join a highly specialised private clinic and pharmacy group as their Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth potential of the businesses. You will do this by driving growth of the clinic and pharmacy through the development of their practitioner base throughout the UK and overseas.
You will be responsible for growing the volume of sales from existing prescribers by increasing their awareness and understanding of the products/services. Account managing and building relationships with healthcare professionals and the wider strategic partnerships. You will be analytical and be able to identify specific market opportunities and also develop product offerings, manage the launches and create R&D briefs as a result of market intelligence.
You will drive the academy, to enable further education to health practitioners whilst identifying different medical communities. You will seek opportunities to develop the healthcare brand and seek partnerships in the UK and Overseas that are aligned to the same company values.
Alongside developing the business you must be comfortable with all aspects of marketing this will include overseeing online presence relevant, including Twitter, newsletter, the blog and all website content, catalogue all literature and review regularly to ensure accuracy and readability. Create clear standard messages about the businesses in order to succinctly articulate offerings and efficiently respond to media enquiries. Develop media relationships and take every opportunity to promote the businesses, stay abreast of relevant media stories and use them to promote or defend the businesses.
You will have a proven track record of sales within a pharmacy or healthcare environment with applications from the vitamin or dermatology sectors being of particular interest. You will be able to engage with marketing tasks and work within a dynamic team, which inlcudes an assistant to support in developing the overall objectives.
