We are looking for a highly committed Superintendent Pharmacist who is able lead the effective and efficient end-to-end manufacturing of a Pharmacy, to deliver for patients and prescribers, with assurance, integrity, accuracy and compliance.  You will develop and sustain a practice of continuous improvement to the patient and prescriber experience.  You will maintain expert level knowledge of all applicable practices, processes and standards with which the Pharmacy complies.

Duties,

  • Provide professional and pharmaceutical management and leadership to the pharmacy service and staff to meet current statutory obligations;
  • Develop and execute pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing and associated logistics processes, protocols and standards. Produce accurate dosages and volumes of products on demand;
  • Ensure that all pharmacy practice meets guidelines described in the latest version of the Medicines, Ethics and Practice issued by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain;
  • Ensure that the pharmacy staff reflect the need for safe and high quality service provision through rigorous recruitment and selection processes, appropriate deployment and appropriate training and development;
  • Deliver patients’ and customers’ orders as per the defined experience journeys and standards, including those concerning time frames and mode of delivery;
  • Guarantee continuous improvement of all processes and practices and establish lean performance measures to enable monitoring of improvements;

The candidate

  • We are looking for a Registered Pharmacist, ideally a member of PIPA (Pharmaceutical Information & Pharmacovigilance Association) with expert knowledge of pharmacy regulations and laws governing the use of medicines;
  • Understanding of Compounding Pharmacy
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and to encourage and support others to achieve their objectives; being a Leader with deep expertise, who inspires through collaboration, delegation and challenge
  • Expert knowledge of Laboratory and manufacturing Practices
  • knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six-sigma, TQM or other relevant quality management methodologies an advantage

Remuneration;
