Zest Medical is currently partnered with a boutique HEOR & Access consultancy that is looking to bring on board a HTA & Value Director to act as a senior leader within the business. The HTA & Value Director will provide leadership and direction across multiple projects, and proactively contribute to the continued growth of the business through business development and internal initiatives. You will work directly with the Managing Director with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years’ professional experience, and at least 3 years’ leadership experience within HTA and value communications services
  • Experience across a broad range of treatment and disease areas, including management of large projects for clients
  • Experience working closely with clients at all levels, building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients and non-health economics stakeholders
  • Experience of developing and implementing standards & processes
  • Outstanding knowledge and hands on experience/specific training in HTA and pricing and reimbursement services
  • Experience of managing and developing a team
  • Business development experience including lead generation, proposal and pitch development
  • A BSc and Masters/PhD in Science, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Excellent IT and numerical skills including proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and direction: Recognised leader and accountable for outstanding quality of multiple projects across HTA and value communications services
  • Strategic and technical leadership: Provide strategic and technical expertise and leadership both to clients and internal project teams
  • Quality analysis, review and delivery sign-off: Review approaches and methodologies, and provide final sign-off of deliverables
  • Process improvement: Create, maintain and implement deliverable processes to ensure operational quality and consistency
  • Thought leadership: Recommend novel methodological approaches to improve services, offerings and ways of working
  • Advanced knowledge: Demonstrate advanced knowledge and practical applications of all relevant methods across global HTAs and market access to drive strategic advice and business development discussions
  • Payer and KOL relationships: Lead the management of maintaining and improving the payer and KOL database, build new payer and KOL relationships, and maintain existing ones
  • Publications and conferences: Review internal development of peer-reviewed publications/presentations
  • Line management and internal initiatives: Support team members with their personal development plans, be a first point of contact for any questions or issues, and provide actionable and constructive feedback to help team members grow. Sign-off multiple internal initiatives which contribute to the company’s vision, mission and culture
  • Business development: Meet business development targets for existing clients and new clients by leading proposals and pitches to convert business leads, and actively manage the development of new offerings

  • Majority office based in London with flexibility for some home working
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
